Electrolysis
The history of Electrology dates back to over 125 years. It was originally used in the practice of Ophthalmology for the treatment of ingrown eye lashes. In time, the process shifted to a cosmetic use treating patients with excessive hair growth.

The process involves a small probe, usually the size and diameter of a hair, introduced into the hair follicle destroying the source of growth and origin, the Papilla. Electrolysis can remove any types of hairs therefore not restricted by size or color. When needed, Electrolysis/Laser combination assures the patient of a complete and permanent hair removal experience.

Laser Hair Removal
Laser Hair Removal has been approved by The Food and Drug Administration as Permanent Hair Reduction. It is a safe, effective and commonly used treatment, providing optimal results in the removal of unwanted hair. Lasers work by delivering an intense beam of light that is absorbed by the skin. This light is converted to heat and is absorbed by the cells being targeted, while leaving the surrounding tissue unaffected.

Because Laser works on the pigment, the ideal candidate for the process is someone who has darker hair, and lighter skin. Individuals with blonde, white, gray and most red heads are not good candidates for Laser hair removal since these colors don’t have much or any pigment in them, they do not absorb the light as well.
